welcome back.. (?)
well,
we are now back at school.. and lets just say that I could really do without.
I feel as though we have so little amount of time left to get in so much.
and that our spring break was filled with weather that was everything buuuuuut what spring weather should be.
My break was not too relaxing either.
I nannied the first three days, working about 24 hours. After that I hung out with my best friends, which are all boys and I wouldn't leave their houses til at least two in the morning, even though I knew that I had to nanny at 9 that next morning. So that was pretty crazy because boys are never just chill, always having to wrestle and all that jazz.
Thursday was my only chill day. I got to just hang around and sleep in!
Friday I had to go to court to fight a speeding ticket and that went well so I can't complain.
Saturday and Sunday I went to Chicago with my boy friend. He took me to see Chicago the musical and we were first row and center! So that was amazing:)
But now it's back to the hustle and bussle. School, nanny, homework, sleep, five days a week.
Lets just hope my finals go smoother than my midterms.

ahhhhhhhhhhh!
This is going to be a quick post, considering the fact that I really should be doing my other homework. But I just had to make a post about this. So I went to type my Wikipedia thing on the Vel D'hiv, now I looked like two weeks ago for it and it said it did not have one. Though, when I went to start typing, I went to Google to find some sources and when I typed in, "Vel D'hiv" guess what popped up, oh yes. Something on Wikipedia! It had been typed but it was under another name. So I collected myself and chose another topic. I wrote, what I thought, was a great page about it and no sooner than a blink, I got a little note from the Wikipedia man himself saying that my page was being deleted! Already!
So I am so screwed. I have been looking on Wikipedia typing in all types of ideas and I can't find a thing.
Ugh. I better get back to working.
TaTaaa

busy busy busy
I can't believe how different this semester is compared to last semester! I leave my room around 11am every day and don't normally return until 5pm! I say that's pretty busy.
My days consist of classes, nannying, working out, homework then whatever TV shows that I watch with my friends.
I just feel like last semester was so easy compared to now. I have at least two papers due every week and I feel like I am never putting down a book! But I guess that's what college is about.
Moving on,
Don't you just haaate it when your used to sticking to a schedule and then it gets all messed up randomly? I do. For example, I watch certain shows (like I said above) on certain days. Monday is the Bachelor and True Beauty. Tuesdays consist of Homeland Security and Ikki twins. Thursdays are Making the Band and America's Best Dance Crew and Sundays we watch the Tool Academy.
Yet today, because Obama had something to say, Bachelor got pushed back and now True Beauty is on tomorrow!
Ugh. Horrible, I know.
I'll try writing on this more often; in between nannying, going to performances outside of class, writing papers and going to class.

The First One
So I figured that in my first blog, I will fill you guys in about me. I know there's an 'about me' section but I figured it would be a better blog.
My birth name is Amy Marie Mnich though I'm rarely called that. Some of my nicknames are: Ames, Am, Amybobammy, short stop, little one and baby, just to name a few.
I was born into a small town that only has one high school. It is more upscale and quite 'snooty'. Though, everyone knows everyone and it's really nice to be walking down the street and having to stop 5 times to talk to old friends. I went to school with about the same kids from kinder garden-senior year.
I have two older, protective brothers and a set of great parents. My 25 year old brother is named Jeff and my 22 year old brother is named Steve. Jeff is in the air force reserves and in a few months will be trained to fly the refuel er jets and Steve is finishing up his last semester at State. My mother has been my best friend since I can remember. She has been here for me through every thing and has never let go of my hand.
I have just a few best friends. I have alot of good friends, though I only see a few of them as 'best friends' The list consists of: Laura, Marissa D, Marissa C, Rhonda, Lauren (my cousin), Jenna, Katie, Sorin and both the Kenny's. They have been here for me through alot and I couldn't thank them enough.
I want to go into Social Work. I plan on transfering to Wayne State either next year or the year after. I want to either work with children in the hospitals or children and adults that come from battered, unsafe homes.
I nanny two little girls, Lydia Sage (2 years old) and Ella Grace (3 months.) It is crazy with two little girls at two crazy ages but it's fun and nothing is the same. I've been working with kids since I can remember. I used to work at Lifetime Fitness Child Care Center. When I was there, I used to have to look over 100 kids with 5 other employes. I used to want to be a teacher, though I realised that I don't like kids that much. Haha.
Along with nannying, I am also taking 15 credits. Normal days consist of me leaving my room at 11 am and not returning until 8 at night. Though my life is always busy and hectic, I have two nights a week that are 'show nights' and I get to watch them with my close knit group of friends. Those nights are just about the only thing that keep me sane.
I am currently living in Sellers on campus (being that I am a freshman and I was dying to get out of my house.) I am moving into Ann Arbour next year with four of my best girl friends. We are getting a house and couldn't be more excited to decorate it (I know, we're suuuch girls.)

I had to grow up the 2nd week of 9th grade. That was when I was involved in my tubing accident. The whole scene was quite brutal and bloody so I won't get into details. Though after 2 hour ambulance ride, 16 hours of waiting, a 5 hour surgery and over 150 stitches: I lost 16 teeth, split my tongue in half, fractured my jaw and sent 1,000 pieces of teeth into my mouth and sinuses.
When finding out the damage, I was so confused, frustrated and I felt so lost. I was already awkward looking enough (9th grade is the worst for most girls) and now I had to return to school missing half my teeth!? I didn't think that I could do it. Though I knew that I was stronger than to run and hide. So I walked into school with my head held high and confidence beaming from my body. Though I had trouble sleeping for years due to the nightmare of the accident and I had a lot of other inner confidence issues, I knew to stay strong on the outside.
In four years, I had: 2 bone graph surgeries, 1 tissue graph surgery, implants, and real teeth put in. When I thought I was finally done, I got the word, 'strength' tattooed on my wrist (I had been wanting that since my accident) I found out that I had one last surgery left, and soon to be my worst. Beginning of my 2nd semester senior year, I had to get my mouth broken and wired shut. Believe me, it was as bad as it sounded. Haha. Though it sucked, I got through it.
Because of my accident, I'm a totally different person. I realized how life can change in a second and how I needed to stop judging people. I learned to appreciate everyone around me and to just have fun. I now try to laugh my problems away, shake off fights and love like I've never been hurt (cheesey sounding, I know.)
I am a very outgoing (at times out spoken), fun, giggly, easy going, opinionated and quite lovable.I want to go into Social Work. I plan on transfering to Wayne State either next year or the year after. I want to either work with children in the hospitals or children and adults that come from battered, unsafe homes.

If you give me a shot, you won't regret it:)
